Comments: I’m just catching up with emails and chanced upon this paragraph from one of the many correspondents who contribute to our Grassroots section.
“I heard your name mentioned Gay at the Tideswell Male Voice Choir at the Winding Wheel last Sunday – What a brilliant evening and I thought the Primary School children were amazing & the little tiny ones were so cute. The concert made a really lovely start to the Festive Season and so nice to have such a good quality production on our doorstep!”

Outstanding ensemble. No wonder the Barnstaple Male Voice choir raved about your performance when you guys sang in Cornwall about 2 years ago.

Comments: Many congratulations - a very successful concert. My friend and I both enjoyed it enormously. Though we both felt we'd have preferred a little more of TMVC and a little less of the band! Hopefully the choir were satisfied with it from your side of the footlights. Well done!

Comments: We really enjoyed this variety of performances. The Christmas theme woven through the whole show was great. The Brass Band gave a very good performance, with plenty of variety and fun filled music and Tuba solo shows that care taken with the selection gives something for everyone, young and those with a more pure tastes. The choir also followed up with a very good selection . The children and audiance participation made for an entertaining evening. Well done.

Comments: Enjoyed the concert at the Palace but felt it was rather weighted in favour of the brass band and would have liked more of TMVC and the children and more Christmas carols etc in the first half. Didn't feel quite as polished as you usually turn out.

Comments: From the vice-chairman of Macclesfield Male Voice Choir:
My wife and I together with a small party of our members came to your show at the Buxton Opera House on 9th October and we felt that we could not let the occasion pass without sending you hearty congratulations for such a splendid evening in every respect. Your standard of singing and general presentation was superb and the performance of the Band and the individual members created an all-round evening of entertainment which we will not forget - and we all appreciate the huge amount of effort which has to be put in by everybody for such an event.
We will look out for you again.
Congratulations to you all.

Comments: Hello TMVC. Congratulations on a wonderful performance at the Opera House! I eagerly awaited the event having thoroughly enjoyed the previous years concert there. I was not disappointed! All performers gave their all, raising the beautifully embellished ceiling of the theatre!! I unashamedly give a special mention to Christopher who was simply stunning.

Comments: The TMVC were amazing on Sunday at the Opera House! Chris Ellis was absolutely outstanding, my little boy (Reuben - 8 y/o) was in complete awe. I don't know whether it was my bad eyesight or whether Chris's hands were moving so fast they blurred?! (i just got a new prescription recently on the specs, so that rules that out!) The band were great, they gave the TMVC so much more 'umphhhh' to the point where jaws were hitting the floor; especially in the Les Miserables medley. And finally the soloists, I was supremely impressed by the 'you raise me up' as it was backed by the royal band. But saving best till last... That lad who did a solo in the Les Miserables. He was all round outstanding! (especially with the beard! ) It just made the character even more believable. I'm sure i heard that beards help you sing better? ANYWAY! the tmvc were amazing and i will be checking their tour dates for when i can next get my hands on some tickets!!
