Eric Jones
Second Tenor
Eric was born in the Wirral, Cheshire. Work moves led him to London and Oxfordshire before he came back north to Matlock in 1982; he finally settled in Bamford in the Hope Valley in 1996 with his wife Mary Lou. He retired in 2005 after a career embracing accountancy, sales, marketing, training and development, and consultancy.
Eric's hobbies include walking and classical guitar, and he has recently started playing indoor bowls (great fun!). His only previous choir experience, apart from church and school as a treble, was with Matlock Choir (mixed voice) for a few years in the mid-nineties.
