Wilf Hukin
Baritone
Wilf has sung with the Dore Male Voice Choir since 1972, and he joined Tideswell in 2000. As a young man he became a regular in the RAF as a wireless operator, and served time in Hong Kong and the Far East.
His main worry is that one day both choirs in which he sings will be required to sing at the same time. If that ever happens he wonders which uniform he should wear – maybe half blue and half green? A dear old music teacher once told him how she felt so sorry for people who had never known music in their lives, for they only had half a life. How wise...
