Philip Heyworth
Baritone
Phil has recently retired from his car and van hire business. He’s played in bands or groups, played bass in a seven-piece soul band, and more recently played keyboards in a four-piece band. At present he’s “flying solo”, playing keyboards and singing at a local eaterie in Chapel-en-le-Frith.
Phil joined the choir in 2010 after seeing an advert for Come and Sing. He follows Manchester United and tries to attend all home games, interspersed with trips to Spain for holidays.
Phil has one daughter and two sons; also six grandchildren including twin boys.
He says he would really like to do an Elvis spot with four of TMVC as “The Jordannaires” this may be a challenge for the future!
