Paul Gallagher
First Tenor

Paul Gallagher

Paul started off his singing with the Choir of Westminster Abbey, renowned worldwide as one of the finest choirs of its type. Comprising some 30 boys, all of whom attended the Abbey’s dedicated residential Choir School, we sang alongside 12 professional adult singers (known as Lay Vicars). The Choir played a central role both in the daily choral services in the Abbey and in the many royal, state and national occasions that take place there.

Harlem Gospel Choir is the premier American Gospel Choir. Paul joined them at the age of 21. The choir was founded by Allen Bailey in 1986 and today the Choir presents the finest singers & musicians from the black churches in Harlem and the New York City area. The Choir has recently performed in front of Royalty, President Obama and Nelson Mandela while also working with famous artists such as Diana Ross, Bono, Sinead O’Connor & the Gorillaz.

Paul has only recently joined the Tideswell Male Voice Choir and is hoping that his busy life will allow him more time to enjoy a favourite pastime.
