Paul Cobbold
Second Bass
Paul is no longer a new member, having joined the choir in 2006. He is a part-time verger and the buildings officer of Dore Parish Church, and is an ex-member of the Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus. He also participates in a barber shop quartet and sings in the Parish Church choir. Perhaps the highlight of his singing career was in 1991 when he was a member of the robed choir for the Armistice Service at the Royal Albert Hall.
His main other interest is fishing – he says it'd be good to find some time to actually do it!
Paul is married to Mary and they have one son; Paul also has three children from a previous marriage.
