The Choir’s Music

A view of the choir with Tyler doing a solo

Here the choir are performing at the Minack Theatre, near Land’s End, with Tyler Cooper doing a solo. It was a lovely day – and the weather was good too!

In April–May 2009 we competed in the fourth Cornwall International Male Voice Choral Festival. You can listen to the performance by clicking here (this is a 9MB ogg-encoded sound file) or here (this is an 11MB MP3 file). The ogg file gives better sound than the MP3, but you may need to install a plug-in to play it.

The choir sings music of many genres: traditional songs, spirituals, songs from the shows, film themes, hymns and a few classical pieces. Even the occasional television programme’s theme music.

The choir performs 30 or more concerts a year, and we are always looking for new places to sing in and new organisations to support. We sing in venues from village halls to major theatres and always devote the same enthusiasm to each.

The cost of the choir varies according to what you expect of us, but it’s less than many choirs charge. We’ll be ready to discuss particulars if you get in touch.

If you would like us to sing for you please ring or e-mail us – details on the contacts page.

Here’s a list of a few pieces we’ve performed recently. A full list of this year’s repertoire is here. You can find where we’ve performed on the programme pages.
