| Paul
was born in 1946, in Southampton, Hampshire, and has spent most of his
career in sales and marketing. He has worked in the oil and
chemical industries for many years, and is currently a project manager
for Baker Hughes, a large Houston, Texas based oilfield service company.
He and wife, Liz have lived and worked in the UK, Germany, Russia and
America, but are now comfortably settled back in Bradwell, Derbyshire.
Paul's principal interest aside from making and listening to music is astronomy. Liz and he share a passion for both visual astronomy and astro-photography, and they have a second home in southern Spain where their three telescopes, cameras and other equipment is kept. Their images have appeared in many publications, and they still have very strong ties to the US where they lived for seven years. Paul has been a member of Tideswell Male Voice Choir since September 2004, and is the choir's webmaster. He is also a member of the Sheffield Bach Choir - a very different sort of singing! Three times married, he now feels he has finally got it right. He has a fine son (living in Birmingham, England) and daughter (living in Adelaide, Australia) from his second marriage, and his daughter has delighted them both with the birth of a grandson. Liz's two sons both live in the UK, and they have a lovely grand-daughter to complete the family picture. |
