DENNIS KAY

Musical Director

Dennis was born in 1947, in Rochdale, Lancashire, and has spent most of his career in sales and marketing. He was sales manager for Matchbox Toys for six years and in more recent years was co-director of a coach company.  He
and his wife Helen are now self-employed and together run a business called 'Baguettes', a quality sandwich shop in Rochdale.  For more information about Rochdale, click here http://www.rochdaleonline.co.uk

Dennis' principal love is directing choirs, and in addition to other choirs which he has both founded and directed, he has been musical director of Tideswell Male Voice Choir since June 2005. This means a round trip of 100 miles when
Dennis and Helen travel to choir rehearsals from their home in Rochdale, but both of them look forward to their weekly excursion into the Peak District and enjoy not only the high standard of choral singing which is now being
produced but also the friendship and fellowship which they find there

Dennis and Helen have three wonderful daughters, Debbie and Rose from Dennis' first marriage and Emma from Helen's previous marriage. They also have four grand-children, of whom they are very proud, Molly, Josh, Harry and Megan.
