DAVID HURLEY

David is a retired publican with many, many years of choir membership behind him - long enough, he says to be able to savour the difference between hearing and being involved in creating choral music.  He says he sometimes finds the learning process difficult, but it is always enjoyable and the end product, at concert time, can be very satisfying.

David lives in Stockport - quite a way from Tideswell - and travels to rehearsals and concerts with three other TMVC members who live in the Stockport area.  David says one of the motivations for doing this is the leadership, direction and tuition of a very high standard which we experience in Tideswell.  In David's own words; "Camaraderie amongst members, families and friends, and an ambition to really entertain when we sing.  It's an unbeatable combination.  What are you waiting for?  Come and join us!!"
